About Our Council

We came together with a shared realisation — and a commitment to stand for the people of this land.

Our Story

Why We Exist

1835

He Whakaputanga

United Tribes of Nu Tireni

This council was born from a shared realisation — that the government would not uphold the respect and obligations owed to the people of this land. Over generations, treaties and memorandums of understanding signed between the Crown and the people of Aotearoa have been circumvented, eroded, and set aside.

He Whakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga o Nu Tireni — the Declaration of Independence signed in 1835 by the United Tribes — remains the foundational sovereign declaration of this land. It affirms the mana and rangatiratanga of the people. Yet today, the rights it guarantees continue to be overlooked.

We came together — Maori, Pakeha, and all who call this land home — to stand for the rights, dignity, and freedom of every man, woman, and child of Nu Tireni.

Understanding The System

The Distinction That Matters

There is a fundamental difference between who you were born as and who the system says you are. Understanding this distinction is the first step to reclaiming your freedom.

01

The Monetary System

The global monetary system operates on debt. Money is created through lending, and with each creation comes an obligation. This system binds nations, communities, and individuals into a cycle of perpetual debt — a structure that serves institutions, not people.

02

Birth Registration & The Trust

When a birth is registered, a legal entity — a "person" — is created. This person is distinct from the living man or woman who was born. A trust is established at the registry, and wealth is generated and traded in the name of that person. If this trust is never claimed by the living man or woman, they remain a ward of the state — bound to the system as the legal fiction, not the living being they truly are.

03

Man/Woman vs Person

A man or woman is a living, breathing being with inherent rights — lawful standing under common law and natural justice. A "person" is a legal fiction defined within acts and statutes. These are not the same. The system operates on the person. We stand as living men and women.

Your Standing

Standing On The Land

There is a jurisdictional distinction that affects every aspect of your life. Maritime and admiralty law — the law of the sea, of commerce, of corporations — governs the "person" and all legal fictions. Governments operate as corporations within this commercial jurisdiction.

But there is another jurisdiction — the land. Common law. The law of living men and women. When you stand on the land as a living man or woman, you stand in a different jurisdiction entirely — one of inherent rights, not granted privileges.

“
We are living men and women, standing on the land — not persons adrift in maritime jurisdiction.

Our Foundation

Faith & Values

Our council members are led by their faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ. This faith is the foundation of everything we do — it guides our counsel, strengthens our resolve, and binds us together in purpose.

Alongside our faith, we hold fast to the values of kotahitanga (unity), manaakitanga (care for one another), and kaitiakitanga (guardianship of the land). These principles — both Christian and Maori — are woven into every aspect of our council.
